Habit Stacking your 2026

Ok, wow, hi! We’re back full steam after a lovely holiday season and hope you and yours rested, recovered, and celebrated with those you love. As we charge through January (HALFWAY ALREADY? HOW) we wanted to set our intention for the year and chat about habits. Good or bad, we all have em, and we want to talk about setting the foundation for some great habits and habit stacking. You might be thinking, “habit stacking sounds like garbley goop (a real word, probably), what nonsense is this?”, which is understandable. There are a lot of health-related buzzwords going around recently, and this is not one of them. Habit stacking is a strategy where you associate a new habit with one you’re already doing to make it easier to add to your routine. Things like: after I load the dishwasher, I’m going to wipe down the counters or sweep the kitchen. You’re already loading the dishwasher after dinner, but maybe you want to do a kitchen reset every night and don’t know how to make it feel easier to start. Here’s where habit stacking comes in: add the new habit to an old one. So, every time you unload the dishwasher, you wipe down the counter. Once you have that down and it feels like second nature, then you can add more attainable steps until you’re cleaning the kitchen every night before bed without even taking a second to think about it. 

At this point, it’s easy to apply this to using CBD. We talk about it a lot, but CBD really is the most effective if you use it consistently. It works great here or there for helping in the moment anxiety or helping you drift off after a rough day, but if you want to see the long-term CBD benefits, consistent use is the only way you’ll get there.

Once you have a CBD you love, the most important thing is to use it consistently. Day or night, with breakfast or before bed, you’ll find yourself adding CBD into your everyday life a lot easier if you habit-stack it. Habit stacking is a great way to improve most things in life.
